Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between BOS and stock exhausts?
Bos Silencers are smaller, light in weight and deliver and deliver more power and torque and produce a dark and deep sound. BOS uses only the best materialsavailable for all their parts, which guarantee a long life.

What is the biggest difference between BOS and other manufacturers?
BOS always uses a special aluminium-mounting bracket instead of a strap around the silencer sleeve. BOS exhausts come with all the necessary hardware and normally don't require any alterations like cutting to the original system.

Does my bike need any adjustments after I've mounted a BOS exhaust system?
All the motorcycles are tested in our own test facilities, all bikes are stock and fully tested for CO CO2 emissions in the complete rpm range. If adjustment is neccessary we deliver tuning tips and jets with the exhaust, but in general this will not be needed.

What about performance and the noise level?
BOS exhausts are guaranteed to deliver more power and torque in comparison to the original. Removing the dB eater, which is in the tail pipe, can change the noise level.

What happens if I take out the dB eater?
The silencer will produce more noise and performance is unaffected. There are types that have more power with a dB eater inserted instead of an open one. The bike doesn't need any adjustments
