Scottoiler
The Scottoiler chain lubrication system relates to the lubricating and cleaning of chains, specifically on motorcycles and now push-bikes. In the past, a coating of oil or grease has protected the chain from wear and
corrosion. However, road dirt tends to adhere to the oil and the combination of dirt and oil forms a grinding paste that increases friction of the chain and accelerates its wear. To prevent this from happening, it is
necessary to clean the chain often, which, until now, required the chain to be removed from the sprockets and immersed in a bath of oil solvent. This is a tedious and messy chore, often leading to staining of the cleaner’s
hands and clothing. The chain lubrication system obviates, or at least mitigates, the above by enabling the chain on a motorcycle to be cleaned and lubricated whilst the engine is running.
Touring Kit

This consists of a High Capacity Reservoir and an RMV that fits neatly behind the number plate and increases system capacity by eight times. The Touring Kit also includes fittings to suit any bike along with a 500ml bottle of Scottoil. The RMV can be mounted remotely, or attached directly onto the side of the High Capacity Reservoir to simplify fitting and provide easier adjustment.
The Touring Kit now has a toughened HCR side window and yellow visibility float for checking oil levels. It is essential for long distance bikers.
The Scottoiler Automatic System absorbs no power, has no wearing parts and is easily attached to any bike. The heart of the system, the Reservoir Metering Valve (RMV) can be mounted anywhere on the motorcycle and works at any angle up to and including horizontal.
The High Capacity Reservoir (HCR) which incorporates an RMV bracket fits behind the number plate. All Scottoiler kits are simple to install, increase chain life by up to seven times, improve performance, fits all models including fuel injected bikes, reduces maintenance and can be used for both on and off road bikes.
The E System

The E System is based on the market-leading Scottoiler universal kit, and the main difference being that the existing kit is based on a siphon principle, whereas the E System is pumped.
All current Scottoil accessories are compatible with the E System, including the Lube Tube and Dual Injector. The reservoir holds 60ml of Scottoil, which equates to an extra 6 hours of riding before refills compared to the vacuum operated system. The electronics are based around triple axis accelerometers which control the system, thus only operates when bike is in motion. The technology is used in Moto GP and F1 with one-touch dynamic adjustment. The readout shows all necessary information on a backlit display, including temperature, oil level, flow rate and forward acceleration in 'G' In operation the system only draws a small current, less than that of a pair of heated grips. Plug and Play connectivity to the battery means the E System is the simplest electronic chain lubrication system to fit.
